This list can be referneced for defining the set of allowed values for enumerated [[Components]] in [[Data Structure Definition|Data Structure Definitions (DSDs)]] or [[Metadata Structure Definition|Metadata Structure Definitions]] which describe [[Reference Metadata]].

An example item would be the value $ with the name Dollar.
